SeeFar project has received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020
research and innovation programme, under grant agreement number:
826429.
The project consortium comprises of 12 partners/entities, from 5 EU countries.
The
fundamental purpose of the project is to help ageing users with age
related vision impairments.
The SeeFar smart glasses that will result from the project, will be adapted to the needs of the users and optimize their view. In order for this to be achieved, a personalized visual assistant will be developed, adapting the environment to the needs of the user, by capturing the condition of the eye, detecting the problem and providing the appropriate adjustment through the integration of augmented reality technologies.
In the See Far project, Lamda88 leads WP 5 ("See Far integration,
testing and verification"), while the company will also
contribute to a number of other requirements, design and evaluation
related activities.
